Position Description: Join our volunteer team and help plan A Taste for Life 2012!

The third annual A Taste for Life event will take place on April 25th, 2012! A Taste for Life 2011 helped raise more than $38,000 to support the SHARP Foundation, with all funds raised staying in Calgary. The SHARP Foundation is a local non-profit Foundation that provides care and support for persons living with HIV – the majority of SHARP’s clients are highly vulnerable, at risk of homelessness, with complex histories which may include mental health struggles and addictions. When: The committee will be active between January 2012 and May 2012. A Taste for Life 2012 will take place on April 25, 2012.

What: There are several sub-committee positions including: Restaurant Hosts/Greeters, Restaurant Recruitment, Media Promotions and Printing, and Prizing.

Benefits: Volunteers will work in small teams developing their skills in event planning and leadership, increasing their understanding of HIV/AIDS in their community while enjoying wonderful food from participating restaurants!
